"This house is a great spot to stay while visiting Fredericksburg. The four of us had plenty of room, the kitchen is very well stocked with things I have never seen in rentals before. Ian was a great host even though I had some trouble tracking down messages on the app. The back yard is a fun spot to "wine" down before and after dinner. If you get a chance, dont miss this one."

"We were happy with our stay at La Rouge. Nicely appointed and convenient location without being right on Main Street. You can still hear traffic noise in the morning but not terrible. Dogs next door were a bit yippy the first day as we were in the front moving in and then in the back for a hot tub time. Hot tub did drown them out however. Maintenance was very responsive as we had a chirping smoke alarm and it got fixed for the second night. Many thanks for that. Would stay again."

"We truly enjoyed our visit to this home. It was clean, had all needed amenities, and was so very comfortable. We were even able to do our laundry before we left. It was too chilly for the pool, but the area was a great place to relax. The location is convenient to Main Street and all the shops and restaurants. "My wife loved all of the antiques and furnishings. The cottage provides surprising amount of space with two separate indoor living areas with plenty of seating for all. (Big plus). In addition there is lots of seating/living space outside! Close to town but not a lot of traffic. Systems heat/cool, showers all worked great. Check-in/out was seamless. Was there for 6 days. Great stay - would not hesitate to stay there again."
