“It is a very nice hotel now , Very friendly helpful staff who are polite and caring. Our room was lovely with everything we needed. Shower was amazing. “Was a bit disappointed. We had wasted an hour trying to tune the tv in. Phoned reception and she talked us through what to do. Still didnt work. Spoke to receptionist and explained the problem, we said the batteries were flat in the remote. One of the staff went to our room to sort out the tv. We had gone out. The tv had been left on so at least we could watch it on our return.
In the morning, switched it on, same problem, batteries needed changing as remote didnt work properly. My……

“Absolutely loved our 3 night stay at The Nici. Staff are wonderful, food and drinks super tasty and we would definitely return. The icing on the cake for us was how dog friendly the hotel is. We watched the hotel Christmas decorations going up yesterday so it looks even more magnificent - tempted to make another trip leading up to the festive celebrations. Great hotel! ”

“Overall good experience and nice looking/good facilities. However our room was not completely clean. There were orange stains on the duvet and pillows (on the covers as well as the actual pillows) and red on the sheets, stains on carpet and dirty windows and windowsill which when condensated had orange drips coming down. Only other annoyance was trying to enter the hotel later at night, we had to wait 15 mins for someone to let us in when supposed to be 24hr service. Other than that nice stay……
