“We really enjoyed our time at Starkhaus! It is an easy walk or very short drive into Sister Bay, where you can enjoy the beach, marina, restaurants, and shops. It is also an easy drive to Newport State Park, Ellison Bay, Bailey's Harbor, etc. In short, we were able to kayak, hike, see the Cana Island Lighthouse, visit the Ridges Sanctuary, etc. within only a 15-20 minute drive. “We loved our week at this cabin! It had everything we needed. Was very comfortable to hang out, well setup for cooking and grilling, great bathroom and shower (and when does a cabin ever have that?!), comfortable bed, nice fire pit and patio. Everything we wanted for a relaxing week, and in a spot that was easy to get to local waterfalls and hikes, with town super close by, yet you’re in the woods! Win win. We’d happily stay again!”

“Was the perfect place for our family vacay, including our pup. The crate provided was more than enough space for our 50lb pup and the fenced in backyard was a dream! The kiddos loved the bunk beds, the books, games, the floaties and the beach. The adults enjoyed the kayaks and the peace of mind that the kids could safely play on the beach as the water stayed shallow for quite a ways out. The house itself was clean and just what we needed.
