It was the peaceful, private paradise I had hoped it would be! Although next time we will rent a jeep or vehicle that can handle the hairpin turns and steep drive to the villa.

Positives: Dennis is great and responds very promptly. We had some storms come through and he even checked in on us and made sure we were good. Power went out but house has a generator that kicked in after about a minute of power loss. The view is AMAZING. Pictures do not do it justice. The house is very private and you about feel like you are on an island on your own. Very short drive to Megan’s bay. Suggest you google St Thomas cruise calendar and pick dates with as few cruises as possible but you can still beat the crowd either way. Seating and bed are very comfortable. Negatives: Air conditioning is in bed room only. So living room and kitchen will be hot. The drive getting out is doable with a car but HIGHLY suggest renting a Jeep. You will need the tight turn radius and power. Overall: Nothing that would keep me away from going back. If I booked another trip to St Thomas this would be the first place to see if it is available.

Blessed Vacation!
We SO enjoyed the view! We purchased groceries/wine at Moe’s, per the owner’s suggestion (spot on), and had such a relaxing time we didn’t leave for days! Hall Bay Beach was a fav for snorkeling, fish tacos and beach relaxing! The pool was splendid and the home is so beautiful and very well supplied! (Rent a small, powerful vehicle for the switchbacks; no joke!) Many thanks to Dennis!

Fabulous escape!
On the Rocks is an incredible, out-of-the way gem. We spent the first day just relaxing and taking in the spectacular views. Magen’s Bay Beach and snorkeling at Koki’s beach were lovely, but the highlight was the property. Dennis was quick to respond to the few questions we had. We will be back!

Complete Bliss!
This is our 2nd stay at On the Rocks and it is just as amazing as we remembered. We spent our time relaxing at the villa enjoying the pool, or taking a quick drive down to Megan's Bay, my favorite beach! Since the villa is Sooooo relaxing with a constant ocean breeze, we spent most nights in and cooked our meals and enjoyed the sound of the ocean. We were fortunate to meet Dennis, the owner, while we were there. Thank you for sharing your beautiful villa... we will definitely be back! Michelle & Brian

Spectacular view!
This place is pretty magical! We felt like we had the Caribbean to ourselves. The view is incredible and you see no one! The pool was refreshing and we loved waking up early to the sunrises. Dennis and Esther were very accommodating hosts. TIP: rent a 4x4 Jeep from Dexter Car rental. It will come in handy getting in and out of the driveway. Would definitely stay again!!

True vacation spot!
This spot is BEYOND amazing! Private and peaceful. For once we felt like we were on a vacation with no disruptions. AMAZING!
The pictures of the house don't do it justice! The views are amazing, the house is beautifully decorated and the owner, Dennis, was super responsive and helpful from before I booked our vacation to the end of it! I 100% would recommend this house to any couple traveling to St. Thomas as I don't think you will find a more perfect house on the island. I cannot wait to go back and stay here again!

Million dollar views
This place exceeded our expectations. The house was cozy and comfortable. The views were spectacular and made it hard to leave. This was a gated community which was a great and made you feel safe. With this being said would 100% recommend this place.

Great house for a honeymoon.
We had a great time there. The view is absolutely amazing. We rented a car and drove ourselves, which I don't recommend. Cell service cuts out leaving you with no gps and not knowing how to get out of the neighborhood. All that aside, the property manager was great and helped us every step of the way. The house is stocked beautifully with all you could need. Its extremely private and all you can hear are birds and the waves of the ocean at night. Magen’s beach is very close and easy to get to. Great beach to visit. We had a great time and would like to go back someday.

Paradise!
Just what we were looking for! The perfect combination of seclusion and unbeatable ocean views. Comfortable and clean with all the right spots to relax and enjoy paradise. We cooked several meals and enjoyed them on the patio while watching the waves crash against the rocks. The pool was perfect for cooling off in the afternoon. A truly spectacular and unforgettable vacation!

Awesome place!
We had a great time here, the vrbo was in a great spot located close to maegans beach which is the best in st Thomas. Dennis was great and answered fast if we needed anything. My wife and I had a great honeymoon here.

Perfect anniversary trip
This was the perfect place to stay in St. Thomas. Close to everything. The hosts anticipate what you need before you know you need it. Loved the air conditioning in the bedroom and would close the room up for a little bit before bed so it would get really cool. St. John’s day trip on the car ferry with the host’s itinerary was a highlight. Beautiful views. Can’t say enough about how wonderful everything was!

Paradise indeed
It’s hard to say places exceed your expectations, but in this case, On the Rocks absolutely did. The pictures do not do the view justice and the privacy and peacefulness of the location are beyond measure. We spent most nights at the Villa making our dinner and enjoying the views. It’s a magical place. I would be remiss not to mention Dennis, from start to finish he was always available and answered all of our questions. Island Paradise
Planned a surprise trip to St Thomas for my husband’s birthday fairly last minute never having visited before… saw “On The Rocks” and it was available and looked great on inside and nice views. When we arrived it was more stunning in person with incredible views and completely private! A 5 minute drive to beautiful Megan’s Bay Beach (20 - 25 minutes from airport). We will definitely be back!

An amazing, romantic, seaside, dream getaway
Based on the description and reviews we expected the villa to be good. But it far surpassed our expectations. On the Rocks is completely private and sits on the seaside cliff right over the ocean, looking out at the quiet bay, amazing sunsets and rainbows, and beautiful natural islands. The constant sound of the surf, smell of fresh salty air, and warmth of the sun made us want to sleep in and return for quiet evenings by the pool. There are no other homes close by allowing skinny dipping and complete privacy day and night. The house itself is open and beautifully appointed with wrap-around decks, outside seatings and rest spots, and floor-to-ceiling views of the water from every room. The king size bed was extremely comfortable. The kitchen was large and fully appointed, and the open living and dining areas just right for eating or sitting in or out. Dennis made sure we had everything we needed. He even picked us up at the airport then we our arrival was late and the car rental office was closed. He dropped by the market on our way to the villa so we could stock up, and picked us up the next morning to go back to the airport to pick up our car. When our our jeep needed towing off the side of a road the next morning (a Sunday) and asked how to get towed, he actually came right over and towed us. The Island was very drivable as long as we had the 4WD Jeep. This was a dream vacation in every way. Thank you Dennis!

Excellent. Road to property is not easy at night, but two good restaurants are nearby. Magens Bay beach 2 miles is very good with services of food and bathrooms. Contact with owner is very good for help and advice. Views of waves crashing on shore rocks thrilling.
