“Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker.
It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.”

“This is an amazing property. So close to town but amazingly quiet.
Everything has been thought of from a lovely breakfast platter to all the extras provided to cook with. Nothing has been overlooked.
The stables accommodation is beautifully fitted out and immaculate.

“I chose The Briar for my wedding, spending the night before alone. It was precisely what I needed—peace and quiet, giving me time to relax before the big day. The property itself is beautiful quality and decor. The bed is soooooo comfy. I love the outdoor bath and seating area with the firepit.
The hosts were easy to communicate with and we are so grateful for the little welcome bottle of wine and provisions.
Easy drive into Nairne for all the ammenities and so close to the wedding venue.
