Coming from the Royalton Punta Cana to Royalton Grenada, I must say that I my family and I were disappointed! For starters, most of the food options at the resort restaurants were unavailable. We went to Grazie and was told immediately that they were completely out of desert with the exception of vanilla ice cream. Keep in mind we are paying top dollar for all-inclusive food and drinks. They also ran out salmon and the substitute fish had a very strong fishy aftertaste. I took one bite and was done. We went to the poolside eatery and was told that they didn’t have the ingredients to make 6 of the drinks on menu! So I had to settle for either a strawberry daiquiri or a rum punch. Again, top dollar at an all inclusive resort, only to be told no to simple drinks. They didn’t have any top shelf dark liquors either. This was the case at the bar next to the gift shop as well. They were trying to make drinks with coconut liqueurs and fruit juice. Again, disappointed. If, I’m being honest we deserve some type of compensation for our disappointment. Also, because of the humidity, aware that when the AC is on the ceramic tiles get wet and slippery and the bedding and chairs can become damp.
On a positive note, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast omelets are made to order and were great!
