Review: 4 Days, 3 Nights at Royalton Grenada
I just returned from a 4-day, 3-night stay at Royalton Grenada, and while there were some definite pros, there were also a few disappointments that made the stay less than ideal.
Pros:
• The property is stunning and immaculately maintained. The grounds are pristine, with every inch of the resort looking well-kept and inviting.
• Some of the staff members, especially the hardworking, pleasant, and friendly ones, really made a positive impact on the experience.
• The room was comfortable, though there was a persistent moldy smell that didn’t go away during my stay, which was unpleasant.
• The food was a major plus—there was a great selection for both local and tourist menus, and everything was freshly prepared each day.
• The beach is beautiful, though the waters were a little rough at times. If you can make a trip to Grand Anse or BBC Beach, I highly recommend it.
• Special shoutout to Kenneisha, a server who was exceptional! She was assertive, friendly, and professional, remembering our drink orders even though she only served us twice. She definitely deserves a promotion.
Cons:
• Unfortunately, the female managers and maître d’ were not very hospitable. Their attitude was often dismissive, and it really affected the experience negatively.
• A frustrating mistake occurred when I was checked out of the hotel instead of another guest. Instead of notifying me directly, I found out when I was turned away from breakfast, wh
