“This place was a great place for us to stay on our vacation. Secluded outside of the city, and a short drive down a gravel road, it really feels that you're lost in the woods, but in a good way. If you're up to visit the Gunks, Angry Orchard, the Hudson river, love the beauty of the outdoors, and have other family or friends to visit in the area, definitely consider this home. Host was very responsive and had everything ready for us.”

“My Husband and I had a lovely time here. It was even more special because we were able to bring our beloved dog who so enjoyed his morning walks visiting the cows across the street and playing in the yard. The property is absolutely beautiful, the Barn is immaculate, everything is new and clean. We just adored the decor, so cozy! The little touches were so appreciated as well, like stocked tea bags and K-cups, clean blankets, towels, park passes and tons of recommendations to near by activities.……

“Our family stayed here while visiting a nephew at West Point, around 35 min away. The house was very clean and check-in was flawless. The beds and pillows were comfortable. We spent a lot of time in the game room playing ping pong, air hockey, and pool. We did not swim in the pool but it looked amazing. A perfect place for us and we will definitely return if in the area again.”

“This property was even more beautiful than it appeared in the photos. The wooded backyard was also spacious and lovely. We were so happy with the view of the lake and how peaceful the space was. The owners are easy to communicate with and prompt to respond. We will absolutely be going back. ”

“Great communication with host. Stayed one night for event at Arrowood Farms (only 10 minutes away). Clean , nicely decorated studio with plenty of light. Lovely yard. Close to all local attractions and dining. Large shower. Great towels and toiletries.TV and A/C worked well. Appreciated the drinking water.Really cozy studio. Has frig, microwave and coffee maker.(also iron and hair dryer). A fabulous stay, although water pressure was a little low, but certainly not a deal breaker. Had people……

“The home is nestled in the woods and surrounded by amazing boulders . The mid century home is comfortable and stunning . We stayed at the house for a quiet weekend visiting friends in the area. The home is well equipped and a joy to stay and relax in . The area is a hikers dream and there are many amazing places to explore . The working fireplace adds a magical atmosphere. We hope to visit this property again . ”

“We enjoyed our stay however, the listing states all the beds are king sized and only 2 are. The other 2 are queen. Also (note for host) we forgot a pair of sunglasses and would like to have them mailed back if they are found, could you contact me if possible.”

“My wife and I, along with my two daughters and grandchildren stayed at the Queen City Cottage for 4 nights. We needed to add an extra day at the last minute and Marissa was very responsive and accommodating. The house was clean upon our arrival and entry was a breeze. It's a bedroom, 1.5 bath, with extra bathroom in basement in laundry room. Location wa great! Restaurants and shopping minutes away. Outdoor space was tranquil with table and chairs under covered back porch. Wifi was fine, TV had……

“Great place!”

“Very comfortable and clean house that accommodated the 20 of us well. Upstairs rooms all have adjoining bathrooms. However there is no bathroom in the basement or in the bedroom above the game room. Since the closest available bathroom was on the first floor these bedrooms were somewhat inconvenient. Otherwise we had a very enjoyable stay with lovely outdoor space and comfortable accommodations.”

“We booked a weekend away to celebrate family birthdays and were very happy to celebrate in such a special place. There was plenty of room for 11 of us (+ dog) and was a mix of modern touches and old world charm highlighting the legacy of the house. And the view of the Hudson was a highlight of our stay. Highly recommend!”
