Southwest Historic Hotel

"Beautiful and impressive mansion like staying inside a castle. I was impressed with all the antique furnitures. That was a treat for me. I was grateful for the talk after breakfast about the history of the place. Downside was that some staff services and the logistics could have been better. The hair conditioner bottle was indeed shampoo. My dietary preference at breakfast didn’t make it to the kitchen staff (or it was ignored/ forgotten). Staff Couldn’t find the key to my room upon check in. "

"A clean and spacious place to stay right in the heart of Jackson. I had a little initial trouble as my room had a large industrial fan in it, but I was swiftly assigned another room that was equally nice and fan-free. The included breakfast was ample and tasty, and if you're interested in the state history and Civil Rights museums, they are literally across the street."

"GardenSong is in a great location! We were able to walk to places we wished to visit in the downtown area. Self check-in worked well. My only issue involves food/drink. A message from GardenSong indicated "Southern Breakfast Included." A second message indicated "Help yourself to a complimentary beverage in your room upon your arrival - cereals and yogurts are available as well." However, we did not notice any food or beverage in the room fridge. I still would recommend this place! I just...
