“We have stayed all over Durango (Purgatory, Cascade Village, hotels, etc.) and THIS place is by far the best! Easy walking distance to downtown, the train station, etc. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet; so much so that deer wonder the area and bed down in the backyard many times. Truly a gem right in the middle of Durango. Do it, book it, you’ll be glad you did!”

“Rick did an amazing job with this house from the space, cooking supplies, everything we needed he had and more. We had 8 adults and 1 infant. There’s more than enough room for more. My husband and I stayed upstairs which made it feel as if we had our own home since it was so private with a beautiful balcony where we watched the sunrise from. The deer came on the property the last morning we were there, it was a nice farewell before we headed home. I hope we get the opportunity to stay at Rick’s……

“The cabin was exactly as shown, comfortable, kitchen with every utensil and pan and spice you need, high speed wifi with two large tvs to watch shows after the sun goes down, huge washer and dryer, nice deck, two great masters. Gas fireplaces upstairs and down. 3 showers. Clean drinking water tap. It was spotlessly clean. Wow. The property manager lives very close and answered all our questions about the area before and during our stay. In winter you need a good vehicle for snowy conditions to……
