"We loved our stay here. The house is really well kitted out, with everything we needed. We enjoyed the firepit, the bbq, the many different relaxing spaces in the house and the great coffee. We were lucky to have fabulous weather so spent lots of time at the beach, only 5 minutes walk away. The outdoor shower was handy for rinsing off the sand. We accidentally left a much-loved soft toy behind and Lucy messaged as soon as it was found, offering to post it to us. Thanks Lucy!"

The highlight going down to the shore to collect oysters each evening. Nothing like fresh Bruny Island oysters with a magnificent view."

"Beautiful well appointed home with great views of the River, immaculately maintained with all the comforts of home. Spacious bedrooms and a gourmet kitchen allow for beautiful memories to be made.Short drive to Hobart and all the area has to offer. I would recommend this property to anyone who wants to experience the best of Hobart /Tasmania while having access to all the areas amenities without being in the middle of the coty. "The location of the house is excellent as you can easily do day trips to the north and south of the Island and to Adventure Bay. It is a few minutes walk to Hotel Bruny which has fantastic meals. The house has a wonderful view looking back to the mainland and of Satellite Island with a deck at the front and back of the house which is perfect to avoid the wind depending on the direction. Both decks have outdoor table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked and the furnishings very comfortable....

"We arrived 40 minutes early and as we had purchased oysters asked the cleaners if we could put them in the frig.All OK. Fprtuneately the cleaners left their keys and i found that only one bathroom was accessible and caught them before they left. When i queried the one bathroom i was told that as there was only 2 of us we only needed one bathroom!..owners instructions.
