“We did a last minute trip to Ashland to see a few plays this past weekend. Susan and Adam the owners were wonderful hosts and very friendly. We left early in the AM of our check out date and was going to miss the scheduled 9am breakfast. Susan and Adam had a to go plate of the pastry being served that morning along with some berries to take on our drive home. This was a very nice surprise. We plan to go back and stay with them again,. ”

“The Mountain House is an absolutely fantastic place to stay! We live in Northern California, and our daughter lives in Washington, and we often meet for family gatherings in Ashland. This Thanksgiving we stayed at the Mountain House. It accommodated the entire family, the kitchen was well equipped for our Thanksgiving meal, and the home vibe was perfect for us. The property management was exceptional, great communication and friendly. We would definitely stay again. ”

“This was such a fun quirky place to stay. They take pets - we were traveling with our cat. The entire place is themed with a renaissance theme down to the stationary. There were some dated fixtures but the room felt super homey and was very clean and comfortable. It was also very quiet. We barely heard anyone which was refreshing. You can tell that the staff members care about the property. The pool and hot tub looked inviting. The breakfast was better than we were anticipating. Fresh pancakes!……

“YOU MUST REPLACE THE PILLOWS!!!! All six of them in my room were hard as rocks!!! It was impossible to get to sleep!! The rest of the hotel is great!”
