“Sportsman's Pond and Blueberry Cottage provided the ideal location for disconnecting from the noise and busyness of every day life. The pond was beautifully serene, without outboard motors, jet skis, etc. The fall colors were gorgeous. The hosts provided every sort of watercraft one might want. I kayaked everyday exploring the shoreline and watching for birds. “Wonderful location, beautiful views across the lake. House was very clean, downstairs shower had two shower heads, no shortage of hot water when all showers were used. We brought two boats and 8 people show up (one couple and 6 singles). Everything was very comfortable, Wi-Fi worked great, nice apple orchard down the road that also sells fire wood ($60 for pickup load). We parked two trucks with trailers and 5 other cars across the street and in the driveway. It’s a dead end road with……

“We loved this home, it was perfect for our stay to attend our daughters wedding. Close to everything, but affords a lot of privacy. Our host was always available for questions and the dog walker she recommended was a gem. Would definitely recommended staying here!!”

The "queen" bed is an uncomfortable full mattress on a queen frame - that's squeaks horribly every time you move. The couch bed was also very uncomfortable. The previous guests did not follow the checkout procedure and no one else ever fixed it b/c there was hair on the pillowcases when I arrived, indicating the beds were slept in and not remade with……

“The little cottage was perfect. The grounds were decorated and well-groomed for the season (Halloween theme). It is conveniently near the Cotton Valley Rail Trail so it's a short walk to most everything. I would definitely plan a longer stay next time.”
