“Fabulous desert location with included live music and dancing with Touareg. Parking off site, and please do take the 1 1/2 hr camel ride to the camp: it is breathtaking (especially when aiming to arrive 1-2 hours before sundown in the camp). Staff is very capable and welcoming. ”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful with setting up a camel ride in the Sahara and the complimentary breakfast as well as the dinner we had at the hotel was amazing. The dunes are only a 100 meters outside the hotel ”

“The best hotel we did during our week trip in Morocco. You could really feel the attention to detail. The hosts were very friendly. As soon as we arrived, we thought we should have taken 2 nights.We hope to go back one day. The drive to the Kasbah is also stunning.”

“The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around. Hamid did his best to keep things lively, but he’s working with very little. I……

“Camels, and 4X4’s, luxury and serenity. The camp had it all. It was the perfect experience and one I truly hope to experience again. We spent 2 nights at the camp and I am so glad that we did, one just would not be enough. Although the food, surroundings, stargazing, camel rides, and four wheeling through the dunes are amazing, the best part of Horaz is the wonderful, warm staff. Thank you Alí and everyone else for giving us a memorable few days in Africa!”
