“We always wanted to spend some time on the Coast when there was a chance of stormy weather. We were not disappointed on this trip. Our amazing house was situated just a few feet from a lovely large rock breakwater on Williams Bay just a short ten minute drive from the fishing town of Westport. We experienced practically every kind of weather imaginable from brilliant sunshine to strong winds filling the Bay with white caps. My Son and I surf fished for Ocean perch during low tide tide just steps……

“This is a great place for a family getaway. There is an awesome playground for kids to play, a game room with kids toys, foosball, ping-pong, a speaker system, and TV. There are two gas grills and one charcoal that are covered so you can comfortably grill in the rain. There are a variety of different cabins all in the same area. “This place is definitely a rustic cabin. The property is very spacious and well kept. The beds were comfy and it was nice and quiet there. The fireplace is beautiful, but there was no hatchet to make kindling or fire starter. Once you get it going though, it’s very nice. The stairs to the loft are kind of steep, but we managed to get ourselves up and down ok ( we’re not spring chickens anymore 😊). “Our trip started out with our car not starting we went to leave. A neighbor jumped it and we thought it was fine - the battery would recharge during the drive. When we got to the rental and parked, the car died again. I was able to flag down someone who worked for the golf course who said Heather's son had a battery pack. He let us use it to jump the car and after about 30 min, we were able to get it started with the help of the first employee and two guests - a father and son. They were so very……
