I can't say enough wonderful things about the property, the owner, and the caretakers. My family of five (including two toddlers and our Au Pair) stayed here for a week in January 2017. Kermit was extremely (above and beyond my wildest expectations) responsive and helpful in arranging grocery delivery and meals, as well as suggesting activities, restaurants, etc. Throughout our stay, we all felt very well cared for by Mary and Greg, two truly lovely and generous human beings. Mary, her granddaughter and niece cooked two delicious meals for us (including exquisite local fish for the adults, and mac and cheese for the kids), and Greg introduced our kids to fresh coconut water and flesh. The house is one-of-a-kind -- simultaneously beautiful, charming, quirky, comfortable, and spectacular. It may just have the best view in all of St. Lucia. Sugar Beach is just a five minute drive below (not an easy walk, especially the extremely uphill return). The SCUBA diving at Sugar Beach was excellent, the spa a divine splurge, and the restaurant quite delicious, though pricey. You are close to several of the main tourist attractions on the island, and yet far from the big resorts in the north of the island. Other trip highlights for us included a chocolate making lesson at nearby Hotel Chocolat, a mud bath at the Sulphur Springs, and a birding tour with Wildlife Ambassadors. We are so grateful to Kermit for sharing his special home with us!
