“Loved our Thanksgiving stay at the Farmhouse. Such a peaceful respite for our family reminding me of times in the country at my Grandparents home. Everything went well with communication, checkin, etc and the house was stocked with what we needed for our stay. ”

“We recently stayed at Double K Lodging and had a great experience. Double K is located out in the countryside close to Round Top. There are three cabins available to rent, all located in a beautiful bucolic setting near a large pond, but with plenty of space separating them. We stayed in the Farmhouse which is right next to shore of the pond and it was cozy, clean, & comfortable. There is also a very nice pool near the cabins which we enjoyed during our stay. The Farmhouse has a full kitchen but……

“If you want an awesome weekend get away that isn't too far from your home, I highly highly recommend this place, especially with kids! My kids had so much fun paddle boarding, fishing, playing with the cows and other animals, chasing after the turkeys and peacocks, and playing with Bailey and Biscuit the farm dogs who are super friendly! They will literally come say good morning to you! But what truly made this place special were the people. Especially Monica, she went above and beyond to make……

“The house was awesome for our group of 11. Went on a girls’ trip to Round Top, and for this group, this house and guest house was ideal. The younger girls/women stayed in the guesthouse and the older adults stayed in the house. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Would like to stay again when it isn’t raining we can enjoy all of the property. ”
