“A unique property , loved the castle , moat and church in the local village. The hotel was warm , welcoming and authentic , offering great value for money , good food and wonderful staff .. highly recommend .. really well situated for our visit to Longleat the following day … great dining experience as well and breakfast was 1st class ”

“The is a lovely little in, ideal for a short stop-over. The staff in the pub were extremely welcoming, it has a great atmosphere, and the food was outstanding. The only down side is, the room I stayed in is next to a commercial site which has bright spotlights, this means that even with the curtains closed the room wasn't overly dark. Also the bed wasn't that comfortable, so I didn't sleep very well. Overall a pleasant stay, and possibly somewhere I would consider for a future stay.”
