“Hydrangea house is stunning!! Our room was AMAZING!! Thank you Kim 😃. The dining area was beautifully decorated as well as the common area that welcomes you. “We were a bit underwhelmed by the property. It was a bit more run down then we expected. Not sure what the issue was but there was police presence when we got there, which was concerning. And not that it was the property’s fault but some of the guests were a bit noisy late at night. It was fine for one night and served it’s purpose, we were only there to sleep.”

“It’s an older motel, slightly rundown, slightly shabby. The beds were comfortable. The room was clean. The neighborhood was safe and the location was very convenient to a nearby expressway. It was easy to get into Providence RI. There’s a nearby family restaurant with decent food and friendly service. We knew going in that it would not be fancy. We got what we paid for. ”

“Sheets weren't clean. Room Door locks were broken and bashed into. Not enough parking due to the bar out back that caused noise and had drunks banging on peoples doors in the hotel. Electric issues. Had lamps with no plugs to power the lights. Low wifi, so tvs signals were lost every 2 minutes. If you have the money, stay elsewhere and pay extra to do so.”

“It was a GREAT location, one of only two hotels on Ocean Drive. the grounds were amazing. The building is falling apart a little, there is deferred maintenance, but the room was clean, the staff was Wonderful. we had a view of the ocean, the hot tub was hot, the coffee and breakfast muffins were great. It is what it is and there is SO much to see in Newport that you shouldnt be spending much time in the room. ”
