“The house is situated on the river bank. The day when we moved in, we witnessed torrents running swiftly in the river and it was impressively beautiful. When staying at the upstair loft, it was another astonishing scene of overlooking the water running outside. It has been raining everyday during our five days stay, and it was quite a pitty that we could not go on hiking as what we have planned to do but couldn't due to the weather conditions. “The host was friendly and accommodating. Everyone was given a place in the refrigerator and in the kitchen cabinet for their food items. We also had a spot in the bathroom for our toiletries. They had a large play area for our dog. I enjoyed the large vegetable garden. I would stay here again without hesitation.”

“This really is a gorgeous cabin, in an incredible setting perched up in the trees. There are skylights above the bed where you can fall asleep with the trees and stars above you. You can sit on the deck or in the hot tub in amongst the forest. It really is idyllic for an escape and we loved our stay. The host was incredibly responsive, and helpful. However, there are some practical things to be aware of if you’re planning your trip. The cabin is on the smaller side; we were on a two week trip……

“I don't like to give negative reviews but this was the worst experience in vacation rentals I have ever had. The house was filthy! The mattresses were moldy, the kitchen didn't have hardly any dishes (2 plates for a house the can sleep 20). The treehouse floor fell through on one of our children. Luckily he was not injured. Communication was ok until we told them all of the problems then it was crickets! Not a word from the owner to me or VRBO. This house is not fit for guests. But with alot……

“The cabin was overall very cute! They had everything we needed. The property was beautiful and we explored down by the river, as well as the waterfall up the road. For tall folks, the shower is quite short and we did have to re-wash a few of the dishes. There was a map with the other rentals listed, but I will note that the other rentals were closer than I thought.”

“We had an unusual stay in that the night before our arrival there was a windstorm that knocked the power out. We were almost to our destination when the owner let us know. She offered us a full refund or to reschedule but we decided to make it an adventure and stay unsure when the power would come back on.
