“There are a few issues with the listing and the property. Very happy overall with our stay. However, second bathroom door does not latch. No heat register in the second bathroom which makes it very cold. Master bedroom door does not latch. Grounds were not kept up very well. Extensions cords laying across the back sidewalk. Yard is NOT fenced in like the description indicates. We loved the location and the overall layout of the house, just needs some attention. ”

“Our stay at the Bourbon Bungalow was a fantastic experience for our group of three families! The property is in a peaceful, rural spot across from Guist Creek Lake, offering a relaxing atmosphere and perfect access to the Bourbon Trail.The house is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully designed. “We all loved the property and had more than enough space for 6 of us to relax after visiting distilleries. Having 2 kitchens and 2 living rooms was perfect when we needed some space or quiet, and there is a good sized tvs in each living room. The bathrooms and kitchens are nicely updated. We walked to dinner in downtown shelbyville - about 4-5 blocks. We would definitely stay there again. ”

“This was a great property, and we would recommend it to anyone. The only (very small) hiccup was that the neighbor's car was parked in the driveway when we arrived, so we had to contact the homeowners. They were super responsive and took care of it right away. The neighbors were parked there (with permission) to free up space for a plumber. We had no trouble with anything else!The location was very convenient. ”

“We rented this house for a thanksgiving Friendsgiving. There was a little confusion on my part because I read the property title as 6BR when it actually says 6BD so I thought there were 6 bedrooms, but there are only 5 (with 6 beds). We were still able to sleep comfortably and had plenty of space. The house was a bit cold (being late November) and we had some difficulties with the thermostat. The downstairs just never seemed to warm up, but when we asked the host about it they delivered two……
