“Loved our stay ; stunning property and gracious, engaging hosts !”

“Our weeks stay at the Herdsman’s House a few kms from downtown Sligo was magical. The accommodations were as advertised, impeccably clean, spacious and cozy at the same time. Spectacular views of Sligo Bay and the surrounding farmland. Sheep and cows in pasture surround the Herdsman’s House. Des and Mary made us feel like family, with great tips on places to visit, and what Ireland’s northwest has to offer. They also gave us a bit of the history of the community they cherish. We enjoyed this……

“We stayed a week at Carpenter's cottage. It was perfect as we were five minutes from Streedagh beach. The cottage has an electric shower which was just what we needed after enjoying the waves. “What a view! This could be from a Postcard of Ireland. I walked two blocks to world class golf at Sligo Co. Golf Club (Rosses Point). Friendly people at the local Pub and Archie was wonderful. Would go back again!”

“Perfect and quiet location. The house is pretty new, beatiful view. We just had some problems with the wifi connection but nothing else was wrong. Very useful the two bathrooms. Large tv. We'd like to be back again.”

“Great place.. well stocked kitchen.. bed comfortable and bathroom spotless.. bedroom a little dark as window was shaded by hedge..also parking only available on street (busy street) i parked about 3 min away but felt it was safer than on the street. Would definetely stay there again”

“I was very disappointed with this property, the good points were, the beds were very comfortable, there is masses of storage space in the kitchen & utility room, there was hand wash available at all washbasins & a very generous supply of toilet rolls. The directions to the property were clear & the key was readily accessible. However there my enthusiasm stops.
