“We stayed in Napavine for a few days while we looked at property (thinking about moving to the area). This was a great central location for us. We did get delayed by trains in the middle of town a couple of times. Overall, a good stay. Had an issue with the door code on arrival but it was corrected quickly. The owner is very responsive. The bed is very comfortable! Didn't cook much but the kitchen is well equiped with older, very cool appliances. We enjoyed our stay. ”

“The cabin was cozy and the property is beautifully positioned on the river. The continuous noise from large trucks during the early morning to the late afternoon was a bit unpleasant. ”

“Property on the lake was lovely. House was great. Only issue we experienced was that the upper bunks in the bunk house did not have rails. We had young adults using them so they were aware but that seems worrisome if children were expected to sleep there. Other than that I highly recommend the place: nice location, lake is lovely and the management team were helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great stay!”

“Perfect base for exploring Mt Rainier NP! Everything as described, perfect location and everything you need away from home. Only complaint is Needs New Pillows! Beds are a bit firm but fine; the pillows were atrocious flat pancakes. Otherwise 5 stars.”

“We traveled from Texas, Nevada an California to attend a Family Reunion. This home met all our needs for group that ranged in age from 4-88 and a pet. Very clean and homey. The kids loved the play room and kids bedroom. Would definitely stay again if in the area. Hosts were very responsive.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! Nice piece of property. Beautiful mountain views, very peaceful. It’s an hour away from Mount Rainier however this is where you want to be especially during the busy months when the cars are lined up to Ashford. We enjoyed the privacy, fires in the evening after a long hike and our kids loved going home to Carlos and the cute cows. We had deers and elk visiting one night also. The house is chic & nicely decorated, loved the kitchen! I would highly recommend!”
