“We had a bit of an issue checking in at the gate and then getting in contact with Lauren, but she worked hard to correct the issue. She was VERY appologetic, and I could tell this was NOT typical for her. Honestly, it all worked out fine because it gave us an excuse to check out the nearby winery while we waited for a resolution! “If you think the online pictures of the property are beautiful, which you get actually what you see, just wait until you drive through the beautiful tree lined roads in this gated community. So beautiful, but drive careful as you are sure to see many deer. Mama’s with their babies. So cute. Alpine lake is Beautiful too. This is a wonderful quiet getaway in to nature. “Loved the house, very clean, great amenities (lots of coffee, plenty of towels, shampoo/conditioner dispenser in the shower, extra blankets). The deck and lake view were perfect in the morning with a cup of coffee. Checkin was easy and Michael provided good communication and instructions. We didn’t end up using the kayaks but it was nice they were available if we’d had time. The bedroom ceiling is not very soundproof so light sleepers be warned if someone stays in the upstairs bedroom, but……
