Fifteen years ago, Casa Chocolat was a spa that offered baths, massages and various beauty therapies, using chocolate as its main raw material. Today it has been renovated and refurbished as a rural house to offer a hedonistic experience to all our guests. Casa Chocolat is a member of the Integral System of Tourism Quality in Destinations, SIDTEC.
Casa Chocolat is located at 55 Cervantes Street, in Imón, Sigüenza, Guadalajara, Castilla-La Mancha. Imón is located 14km from the beautiful Sigüenza (candidate for World Heritage Site), its salt mines, the most important of the region of Atienza and the province.
Just 6 minutes walk from Casa Chocolat you can visit the famous Imón salt pans.
The Salinas de Imón had the largest salt production in the peninsula, they are the largest, best built, The king, under his control, destined the rents to pay the nobles and the bishopric of Sigüenza. The last modernization, to which it owes its present appearance, was the work of Charles III in 1720. They were active until 1996, and the remains of the last harvest are still preserved in their main warehouses.
