“Great location, immediately off junction 29 of m1. Yet it’s quiet, w a gentle hum of traffic. Much better than a high street hotel where you get noisy passing traffic. Staff helpful (accommodated my request for decaf coffee at breakfast and a sandwich on arrival despite kitchen being closed). Comfy bed. “It is a tiny, but wonderful, cottage. It is so homely and ‘liveable’ and the owner, Katie, has obviously tried to provide everything you might need to enjoy a comfortable stay. Even the beds are comfy! It is beautifully clean and well presented; my adult daughter said she would like to live there herself. The main street with a Co-op store, a good selection of eateries and a friendly pub is just a short walk from the door, with the Sherwood Forest craft and visitor centres just a couple of……
