“The apartment itself was wonderful and just as described. It’s spacious and comfortable. There were only two of us so we had plenty of elbow room. The furnishings are nicely done and the home stocked with what you’d expect, a nice amount of towels, kitchenware , cookware, extra toilet paper, etc. The location just above Main Street is wonderfully convenient and adds to the charm of the place. “Very nice house nestled in the downtown area. Really clean and plenty of room. A couple things to be aware of, there are steps to access the home that are old concrete steps that can be difficult if you're bringing in a heavy suitcase. There's also steps to the upstairs bedroom/bathroom, so keep this in mind. Also, there isn't a working washer/dryer. I used the laundromat that was close by, and it was nice. Otherwise, a nice, quiet stay.”

“This super clean, well decorated condo is perfectly located just steps from Galen's famous downtown. I enjoyed the learning about the buildings newspaper history. The trip was a 4 day getaway with my sisters and we had an amazing time. NOTE: There is absolutely nothing consumable supplied in the kitchen with the exception of coffee pods. Was surprised there was no sugar or powdered coffee creamer, also no salt and pepper. These are typically supplied by VRBO properties.”

“The apartment was great for a weekend away in Dubuque. The location in the Mill Work District was perfect with different restaurants and bars within walking distance. The check-in process was extremely easy, and the apartment was very clean and stocked with all of the amenities and supplies you need. The reserved parking spot right behind the building was very convenient as well. Overall it was a great stay!”

“Absolutely stunning apartment. The whole building is beautifully finished. My boyfriend and I kept talking about how much we would've loved to live in the apartment that we rented. Every bit of information that you would need to have on how something worked or what to do was in a nice book on the counter. They……

“The room is beautifully set up and decorated. The balcony is perfect for coffee and quiet time. You can access the main road from a staircase in the “back” of the building and Bench St. from the “front”. Staff is onsite and very prompt in response. Overall a perfect stay. ”

“My husband, myself, my sister and our children ages 6-17 stayed here for a relaxing family weekend. This is actually my secone stay here this year! The location is perfect! Close to amenities but far enough away to get a full camping/outdoors secluded experience! We love to sit by the fire, watch the birds, fish at Finleys landing and walk the beach. The cabin is cozy and rustic and thoroughly stocked with firewood and cooking supplies! Perfect stay for families! ”
