“Overall, this was a great experience. The location is directly across the street from the beach and has a view of the pier. It's in a recently renovated building that was quiet and relaxing. Walking to the Promenade, movie theatre, numerous stores, etc was great. The actual apartment is pretty great, too, and we really liked all the "extras" provided by the host, such as an Uno game, Jenga game, chairs/towels for the beach, water bottles/sodas, and so on. The TV/Roku is great, the a/c works……

“Just had a great experience in Santa Monica. This place is great for a single, couple or couple with one or two kids that want to sleep on a futon. Its airy, sunny and has a ton of very personal touches (including a bidet toilet!). Close to great restaurants and the beach. Its perched on a hill so the climb back will give you a little exercise, but nothing strenuous, I was really impressed with Renee, the Host. “We were unable to find the property or reach Shaw Carter, the property manager (or whatever). We were stranded and Verbo found us a room at Best West. We had to pay for the night and decided to spend the additional 2 nights in Santa Monica. I tried to reach BW for itemized receipt but manager not in until Monday. Will send info asap. ”

“We had a very nice 6-day stay here. Great hosts, great hospitality. Wish we took a picture of our breakfasts--very tasty and healthy. Plenty of places to sit outside, which was nice in the morning, but the Valley does get very hot at night in the summer. Thought there would be more road noise from Oxnard, but wasn't bad. AC runs in afternoon to mid-evening; we were able to open windows after that. Bed was fairly firm, but comfortable. Some snacks in the room and water in the……

“I can’t recommend this place enough. Even better than we expected. Really well appointed with everything you need for a longer stay. We cooked dinner and prepared breakfast but could easily have walked to so many cafe and restaurant options around us. Supermarkets around the corner and a gym and swimming pool nearby. Absolutely great!!”
