“Come out with the family on Thanksgiving day. Easy check in, very clean place. All the sheets and pillow cases were freshly washed. Beds were also firm and comfortable. Area is quiet. It’s close to the train tracks but never bothered us. Area is close to downtown Ottawa, lots of groceries. There’s also a Walmart or Farm and Fleet close by. A short 10 minute drive. We planned to hike and drive around but ended up staying in. It got too cold. It was a restful staycation. ”

“We were looking for a spot where we could hang out as a family of 16 coming from 7 spots around the US and Canada. This house worked well with plenty of bedrooms for adult children couples with ensuite bathrooms. Large bunk room for children, in door game/activity space and lots of outdoor space with a great pool for activity. The kids loved the over-the-top palace feel of the mansion. Kitchens were very functional as we ate every meal in. Lots of places to sit and eat. Company was very good……

“This home was very cozy and inviting. So many amenities in the home. One of the best I have stayed in. We will be booking this home again. ”

“Great location and accommodations. We loved being able to walk into "town" within minutes to get dinner and Starved Rock was easy distance to hike and take the Trolley.Nice big table for gaming!”

“We had an amazing time at this cabin! Perfect spot for a fishing trip with friends. The cabin was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. The location by the river made it easy to fish right from the dock, and we loved relaxing by the fire pit in the evenings. Plenty of space for all five of us, and the peaceful surroundings were exactly what we wanted. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great outdoor getaway!”

“We enjoyed the view from our rental and the quietness of the community. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the rental. The furniture was in bad shape and the level of cleanliness was not to my standard. Kitchen table was wobbly and couch and chair were not comfortable. You could bounce in the chair when you sat down. Carpets were stained and the guest closet wasn't even useable because it was just full of stuff. Cheese wrapper was on the 3rd floor and pretzel wrappers in main……

“Unfortunately this unit has mice. They interrupted our dinner together running through the kitchen, under the dining room table and to the couch.. when we retreated upstairs I found the mice must have been in the bed as I had a terrible skin reaction and couldn't stop itching through the remainder of the night. Not sure how well I did on my job interview the next morning. So far no sign of a refund. Stay away from this place.”

“This was a good place to stay. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and bathrooms stocked with supplies. The steps to the unit needed to be cleaned better. A couple of convenient outlets need to be fixed to work.”

“Loved the home, it was perfect for the six of us. Heritage Harbor has incredible potential. We all thought it would be the perfect location to visit when the construction was more complete. It was disappointing that the area surrounding the home was all dirt and foundations were literally being dug around us. Only comments about the home we’d like to share were regarding the ceiling fans upstairs were very dirty, plumbing in the basement was noisy, and the screen door needs to be repaired.……

“This place worked out perfectly for me. It was perfect for having a few guests over and enjoying football with friends. It's a quiet neighborhood, the house has plenty of options as far as cooking. You can grill out or cook anything on the stove or oven. I may rent this one again. ”
