“This is a very nice property and one of the nicest in Charlottesville. It’s close the downtown mall, UVA and the medical center. The restaurant offers a lovely breakfast buffet and the conservatory bar is quite a nice place to enjoy a cocktail. ”

“Very nice, but a little spooky. I did not realize that this used to be a mental hospital, so that’s on me. Very clean, and it’s gorgeous keeping the historical brick and wood, but adding a modern touch with the renovations. Cute little breakfast spot inside the hotel ”

“Stay was great as usual. Appreciate the non-slip mat in the shower. We brought our own non-slip bath mat in the event that you didn't provide one. If not, we place a bath towel in the tub to help us out. So, thank you! We LOVE staying at 24 South..... our fifth time. The lounge is great. Kudo's to Emily the bartender. “We came to a wedding and stayed at the hotel. It was lovely and the wedding was very wonderful. The charm and historic atmosphere was phenomenal. We would love to stay here again. The only thing we didn’t like was the fact you have to pay to park. With the high cost of the hotel, parking should be included. ”
