“If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National……

“My family loved the rental and the area!! Great hikes in Shenandoah National Park, quaint little town with the beautiful Luray Caverns… a beautiful cavern, excursions to local Battlefields, and a very handy Walmart. We sat outside by the fire pit, and one night we saw the Northern Lights!!! A real treat! We relaxed in the hot tub and heated pool!! We also enjoyed the game room! Great Vacay!”

“We had a wonderful time in Massanutten during our Christmas holiday. Matt & Katie have the house set up nicely with good sleeping beds & plenty of toys & activities downstairs in the playroom for the kids to do. The TV in the downstairs room was a great asset for the family to hang out together & watch a movie. Matt was quick to reply to any of our needs & we would recommend their home for your mountain visit for sure! ”

It had everything you needed for your stay, to include, paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, kitchen tools, family games, etc. Literally, all you need to bring are food and clothing. If you're traveling with a multi-generational group, this is the house for you. My husband and mom loved the shuffle board and connect four game Just book it!”

“We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen was very well equipped and there was plenty of room to spread out. The beds were mostly comfortable and the only issue we had was with how chilly the downstairs was without lighting the gas fireplace. However, the host quickly responded when we inquired about this and offered to have someone come light the pilot light, This house offers a lot for families and is priced reasonably. Would stay again. ”

“Quiet neighborhood with a heavenly view. It snowed while we were there, and the area roads management was impressive.Property is reasonably well-appointed. Perhaps geared more toward an adult party venue, we did find family-oriented supplies limited. Bring your own games, books. I would not recommend this property for families with young children for obvious reasons. The price of the view is a higher risk of slip/falls on the back incline, especially in snow.This rental is a special blessing……
