“Beautiful house in the woods. Only issues were some minor maintenance issues that we reported. Had they been able to be fixed, would have been perfect! Owner did respond quickly and they were things that could be overcome so we enjoyed our stay. Close to the state parks and trails.”

“My girlfriend and I loved this cottage and the view was amazing! We spent 99% of the time on the back porch. Enjoyed the clear days and watching the rain roll through the valley. There is some other cottages around, but you won’t even notice they are there. The owner did a great job with modernizing the cottage, but keeping a mountain cottage feel. Morganton has many parks with great trails, waterfalls and views. Visit Lake James…beautiful lake with kayaking available. We hope to return next……
