Sheffield Golf Hotel

"Excellent greeting at reception but ground floor to Room 060 needs attention. Doors, wallpaper, skirting poor. Room v good. Sourdough bread rock hard with Camembert in bar meal and we should have sent it back as uneatable. Generally we enjoyed our stay and staff were excellent "

"Lovely stay in city centre. Offered upgrade on check in. Bar staff told us about joining reward scheme to get half price drinks on happy hour. Room spacious and very clean. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. Tram stop only short walk for Meadowhall or arena. Would highly recommend "

"I only stayed one night but I was very comfortable and my room and surrounding areas were clean. The staff were polite. I would stay again. "

"Chose this hotel for spa due to long flights to get there and was told specifically by the hotel that even though they were closing down that the spa services were still available until the close of the hotel. Got there and asked about spa services and was told that the massage therapists were not accepting any more appointments for the last 3 weeks. So no massage no pain relief. Had I known this I would have stayed elsewhere!"

"Very reasonably priced, complete with breakfast and parking, upgraded to prestige room, excellent large space room, bath and shower, huge bed, shower not super power but still good, we slept great for a stopover night. Hotel a bit isolated, that said the outlet store the other side of dual carriageway is worth a wander. Plenty of parking when we visited on a Saturday night, Sunday breakfast good variety. Reception lady lovely. 10 mins into Sheffield, this hotel might now become our goto"
