“We weren't at the property very much, but it met our needs well and had amenities I would definitely appreciate even more if I returned for a longer trip or did more in the house. It had a host of choices for areas to hang out in comfy chairs as a group, circle up around the same table, tvs in rooms, quality wifi. We didn't need to communicate with the property manager during our stay since no issues came up, but they were great about providing all necessary info ahead of time. Our main……

“This is a gorgeous property with beautiful views, thoughtfully designed and artfully executed. There is plenty of space for a large gathering - we were 17, including 8 kids ages 4 - 15. There are many different hang out areas, so you never feel like you are on top of one another. We cooked most days, and the kitchen was well supplied and functioned well. The basement is great, especially for kids and teens (and adults who want to play). We had some crazy ping pong games, learned country line……

“First I am normally not a complainer. I have also stayed in many VRBOs. All very positive experiences.I was expecting rustic because this place looked dated. However upon arrival there is an odor in the home that could not clearly be explained. We bought candles to help with the smell. It is supposed to be supplied with enough towels and wash clothes for 13 guests. It is not. They are working on flooring up stairs so one room was subfloor. Not completed. “We had our annual extended family get away here vs staying in northern MN or Wisc. We all enjoyed how close it was to our actual homes (MPLS and St Paul) and were impressed with all the amenities, like towels, soap, toilet paper. Past experience we’ve had properties that only leave you one roll of toilet paper (example). The fire pit was wonderful and the host responsive when we had a request. We would definitely come back again! ”

“Four Morgan siblings had a mini reunion back in Southern MN, where our father grew up and we used to vacation every summer 50-60 years ago. Nice big house, close to, but not on, the lake (as the ad seemed to imply). But very happy with our stay. If and when we head back to MN in the future, I would look for this property again, and isn't that the bottom line? And don't worry, the game room does have pool cues, even though the ad says to bring your own. Recommended.”
