"We had a wonderful stay in Father’s House Beach House. The house was very clean and modern with a lovely pool & garden. It was the perfect place to relax. We walked through the forest to the beach every day. Steep climb but worth it. Huge, mainly deserted beach which was really picturesque with amazing sunsets. "A nice villa in an excellent location for all the excellent beaches, but in need of some upgrading. External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

"Took my family here and had a wonderful and relaxing time. You never really know what you're going to end up with but this place was more than perfect, large bedrooms and rooms around the house, massive garden with the great swimming pool! Maxine the host was amazing and really welcoming. "Das Haus von Hugo war sehr schön. Die Ausstattung der Küche war wirklich gut, es war alles da. Es gab mehrere Plätze, an denen man sich abends draußen sitzen konnte. Wir haben den Dachterrasse sehr genossen. Der Vermieter war per What’s App erreichbar und hat sich gekümmert. Der Check In war problemlos. Die Lage war etwas abseits, um schönere Orte anzusehen muss man schon ein Auto haben."

"This is an excellent apartment with free parking on the street right outside the building. We visited in winter so parking was plentiful but there is also a paid lot near the apartment if street parking is full. It has a washing machine and renovated bathroom and kitchen. The terrace is a good size and provided a great view of the beautiful beach. We stayed here and took the 1 hour (4.5 Euros/person one way) bus ride into Lisbon. It was a great way to visit busy Lisbon and enjoy a beach town...

"This place was awful. NO AIR CONDITIONING which is not mentioned anywhere on Expedia. Apparently, Expedia has that info but not listed anywhere. Would not have booked this place if I had known there was no air conditioning. No fans either and on top of that window was broken and couldn't be opened. Temp was close to 80 when I got there. Expedia was of no help finding me another room. Left within an hour of arriving. Temp next day was 102 degrees. Unacceptable at any price."
