“The room and the bathroom are very spacious. The bathroom floor and part of the wall are made of marble which was very nice. The water tap in the wash basin needs to be changed as they did not work well. The water kettle in the room was broken though still working. The room wasn't very sound proof as I could hear people walking above . I had to call the receptionist twice to keep the children in the room above me jumping about. The hotel staff were friendly.”

“Living in forestedge let us see lots of wildlife. There are different kind of bird , butterfly and lizards living around. When we got up in the morning we saw something left outside our balcony which is bird food leftover. One thing is the best is we can visit the two centers nearby without joining any local tour. “For the area of Sandakan that this hotel is in this is a pretty good option if you really have to stay here! I would not recommend the area at all. The staff here were very attentive and friendly. The room was adequate but the pillows were horrendous! Just lumpy lumps of hard sponge! The shower and sink use a pump system which was not smooth at all and you either had a ‘power’ shower or a trickle. “The accommodation and food was nice, we were let down by the tours and communication. The night walk was disappointing as we walked very close to our accommodation, so was not really the jungle walk we were expecting.
