“The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. “The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings.”

“We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. “James is an excellent host. My husband and I recommend this stay. Very clean. Full size kitchen is like home++. The upstairs 2-bedroom apartment is comfortable and quiet. Thick towels.
