Our house on beautiful lake Ballinger is a peaceful get-away close to all that Edmonds and Seattle have to offer. Stay and relax, or use our home as a basecamp for all your Pacific Northwest adventures.
The 2000 sq. Ft. Mid-century modern home, built in 1956 has 4 bedrooms (3 with gorgeous lake views), an office, a very generous living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room/mud room, one bathroom on the second floor with a small shower, and one on the first floor with a larger shower.
You can BBQ on the covered back porch, or enjoy playing bocce in the spacious yard against the lake. Enjoy swimming or relaxing by the edge of lake Ballinger, and end your day around the fire-pit. We love our neighbors, and our quiet community.
In the colder months, our home is a birders paradise, as waves of different migratory birds from buffleheads to loons visit the lake from October-March. Best of all, you can enjoy all the beauty of lake Ballinger in the winter while you’re cozy in the living room, enjoying a cup of coffee or tea and a throw blanket. Or if you prefer a bit of the cold on a crisp fall day, you can enjoy the beauty of the lake from the covered porch, or an evening outside reconnecting by the fire pit. This home is the perfect get-away for writers retreats, book clubs, couples get-togethers, travelers, adventures, and families visiting local loved ones.
Our home is located less than 15 minutes from the Edmonds ferry, which is the gateway to the Kitsap peninsula which sits between Edmonds and the Olympic peninsula home of the Olympic National Park.
The lake Ballinger house is within just a few minutes of amazing local restaurants, and beautiful wooded or saltwater beach parks.
20-40 minutes in the car (depending on traffic) can get you to downtown Seattle, East to Bellevue, or North to Everett where adventures and experiences await.
