“We stayed at the Branscombe Arms in late October. The accommodation was gorgeous and the food delicious. Do book a dinner reservation, as there is no other option in the village itself. “The accessibility, location, house, restaurant and vegetable/fruit garden were excellent, and the internal and external staff were outstandingly pleasant, cheerful, polite and attentive. Our room, upgraded for us without our so asking, was roomy and well-appointed, but rather dark and sombre, so it made the many inside steps rather difficult to see, slightly dangerous for anyone without perfect vision. “We were upgraded when we arrived to a room at the front with sea views from both windows. There was a nespresso machine and coffee and tea facility’s.
