“Perfect location for Acadia and Maine coast sightseeing. Right on the main drag in Blue Hill, with a busy coffee shop on the doorstep, which was great for us. Very quiet at night, however. The house is renovated, but still has historic charm. Clean, comfortable, and roomy for three adults, with direct access across the street to a trail that goes up Blue Hill.”

We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house during our stay, but the sunsets are amazing and it was fun to walk around near the shore during low tide. “We ended up finding this location at the very last minute. IT WAS PERFECT! There was a snafu with our VRBO reservation and we were unable to get in. Once we hopped onto Hotels.com and did a search for something a family of 5 could stay in near Bar Harbor during the busiest time for the area, this house in Acadia popped up. We were so LUCKY it was available. The price was reasonable and we could immediately check in. So easy! Thank you to the host family who has placed this location on……

“My family had a wonderful stay in this house. Between hiking in the Schoodic Peninsula, visiting Bar Harbor, and soaking up the view from Cadillac Mountain, we loved swinging on the porch swing, having coffee on the front porch, and relaxing around the dinner table. The house is recently renovated, clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are invested in your stay and very responsive to any messages you send. There are restaurants, gas stations, and grocery stores all close by - be sure……

“We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet peaceful cottage, and our puppy was in heaven with so much space to run around. The location is convenient to many great restaurants and stores, and Acadia National Park is less than an hour away. The cottage itself had everything we needed (particularly loved the gorgeous views of the water, and the luxurious shower after long days of hiking:).
