We had 2 problems, one was a leak in a bathroom faucet that caused water on the sink countertop and the bathroom floor. The other was with an air conditioner leak that caused a wet area around the air conditioner. This was discovered around 2 AM on 12/6 when my husband tried to use the bathroom. We used our bathroom towels to try to dry the leak and called the front desk. The front desk person told us there was no maintenance person on duty and he was the only one. He said he didn't think there was a room available to move us to.
He also stated that he expected the maintenance person to be in at 6 AM. At 6 AM came, no maintenance person, 7 AM no one, at 8 AM no one. We went to the front desk and the Housekeeper Supervisor was there and she came to our room and fixed the faucet and tended to the air conditioner as best as she could, but wanted the maintenance person to, look at the problem. She also had our room cleaned. She was excellent and I believe her name was Brenda. It wasn't until Sunday 12/8 when a maintenance person came in. We were then offered a room to move to, but since the problems seemed to be solved, and we only had one night to stay we decided to stay put. The staff tried to help, but it looked like they did not have the ability or authority to help.
