“Great place Reasonable prices and great staff ”

“Service is good, breakfast is excellent. Wifi is slow and disconnect every 5 mins. Due the night time between 1700-2130. It is because, they share with the pub and restaurant guest wifi. When you showers the water sometimes hot and cold. The room is nice.Easy to park.”

“Last minute business trip. Made to feel very welcome. Easy check-in. Roast beef dinner was hard work but enjoyed ambiance of restaurant.”

“It is a truely dog friendly place, everyone so friendly including all the locals, the food is delicious we had a really enjoyable stay, . Only downside was no breakfast but we were told where we could get breakfast and we went to a little coffee shop also dog friendly, and it didn't disappoint.”

“Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful place and surroundings. Slight negatives were noise from adjacent rooms and 10am Sunday checkout. Otherwise, food, service and atmosphere all great and plenty of lovely walks.”

“Our room was clean and comfortable with a lovely ensuite bathroom. Location is brilliant - about a 20 metre walk and you’re on the Old Course!! Parking was easy and free nearby. Be aware that, quite typically of St Andrew’s, there is no lift so make sure you’re up to climbing stairs and also getting your luggage up and down yourself! Staff were friendly, breakfast was excellent. Definitely recommend!!”

“I loved the Ship Inn. The staff were very helpful. The room was perfect for what I was looking for. It was walkable from the train station. It was convenient to walk to Dunnottar Castle. I went out early to run and felt safe. The locals were friendly. Lots of cute little restaurants and cafes. The Ship Inn restaurant was very good. I would stay again.”
