Oglethorpe Lodge is a unique place to stay just steps away from the Savannah River, beautiful, cobble-stoned River Street and the Riverfront. River Street offers several restaurants, art galleries and boutiques.

When staying at the Oglethorpe Lodge, you can expect a comfortable room with plenty of space and amenities. The suite includes a full kitchen and living space for visiting with friends and family. Extra sleeping space is included with a pullout sofa in the room. The suite has a designated off-street parking space located behind the lodge.

The Oglethorpe lodge has off-street parking behind the lodge, where guests can enter their suite. In this same area is a bricked in courtyard, where outdoor meals or visits can take place.

Close to the Convention Center!!!
Perfect location! The beds were comfortable and the living space was excellent. It was spacious, clean, and accommodating. Almost everything was within walking distance. The parking was easy to get in and out of. The entrance to the apartment is in the back. There was also a pub /restaurant right next door which you can access in the back too. It came in handy for drinks and supper. Note: There is an elevator to the riverwalk!!! Look for the public bathroom signs next to the Hyatt! Here are a few of our favorite eateries: We enjoyed Wet Willie’s tacos and drinks, 2 Cracked Eggs for breakfast, and Squealing Hog’s ribs! We would stay here again!!!

Great location and comfy space!
This property is located in the perfect spot. Short walk to River Street, short walk to Broughton. You can't go wrong! Furnished with everything you need, and clean as a whistle. AND a parking space!! Host is super and responds quickly. When we return to Savannah, this will be the first place we try to book!

Fantastic apartment in brilliant location
This is a beautifully decorated, furnished, and extremely comfortable apartment. The location is perfect for sightseeing in Savannah, with all the major sights and museums, and a great selection of restaurants, well within walking distance. It has a full kitchen with a large fridge, cooker and dishwasher. My only criticism is that it could do with a bit more crockery and some oven dishes as there wasn't enough for us to be able to make good use of the excellent kitchen facilities. I wished we were staying longer in this apartment and I would certainly recomment it to anyone wanting to stay in the Savannah area.

We loved our stay here. Perfect location for all things touristy. We parked our car when we arrived and never had to move them until it was time to leave. Perfectly comfortable for our party of four.

Perfect stay
My husband and I went to Savannah with two of our friends to celebrate a birthday. This was the perfect place to stay. The rental was very clean, comfortable and looked much cuter than in the online pics. The beds were so comfy and the showers were amazing. The location can not be beat for easy access to River Street and lots of great restaurants. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Savannah.

What a wonderful place.

Absolutely our new go to for Savannah
We come to Savannah for sometimes five times a year you have stayed at Hyatt River Street Marriott Old harbor this is absolutely the best All things considered we have own little apartment one block from Bay Street two blocks from River Street a nice little bar and grill at the foot of the stairs and free park the place was spotless and quiet. Will absolutely stay there again even if we don't need it as much room as it gave us

Excellent property. Clean, great towels and shampoo, conditioner. Perfect for 2 couples. Only compliant… the Unit we were in was not the unit that we saw on VRBO. It was the same layout same number of bed and baths, but definitely not the same unit that was advertised.

Spacious 2 bedroom, nicely decorated and prepped, right off Bay Street in the center of the Savannah action. Restaurants and river walk only a block away. Private courtyard and balcony in the back, but the noise from the Treylor Park restaurant outdoor seating (right next door) kept us from enjoying it in the evening. The property was as described and a very good experience. Even though the unit was in a busy area it was very quiet inside. We were on the second floor and had direct access to the balcony. This was convenient for morning coffee and evening relaxing though a little noisy, but not too noisy, due to the surrounding HVAC units and exhaust fans from the nearby restaurant. But we didn't come to Savannah to sit on the balcony. We will definitely put this on the list when we return to Savannah.

Amazing Stay!!
During our Short two night stay, this condo exceeded our expectations. It was by far the cleanest VRBO we have ever stayed in. It was right across from the river in Savannah, And you could walk everywhere. However if you did need your car, you had an assigned parking spot for your vehicle. Just an FYI though, there is a restaurant/bar next-door and we had to wait for about 10 minutes to get to the parking spot because they were blocking the alleyway. I would recommend the restaurant though, great food and drinks right next-door. We would definitely stay there again, it was a large enough space that we could spread out and never felt on top of each other. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
