While our check-in was smooth and the staff member was genuinely kind, that was unfortunately the only highlight of our stay. We have stayed here before, so we had baseline expectations, but this visit was a total nightmare.
The door creaked open like a scene from a horror film. Everything felt coated in grime. The TV shelf hadn't been wiped down, and the lamp switches were frankly disgusting.While the counters looked okay, the floor around the toilet was gross and sticky. The bathtub was both dirty and rusty. The room smelled dank so I turned on the AC to help circulate the air, but once it finally revved up, it was so loud we couldn't even hear the TV. When maintenance arrived, he didn't say much—he just propped a chair in the door and started tearing the unit apart. We had to sit there with three anxious little kids waiting to go to the pool while dust flew everywhere from the dismantled machine. After all that waiting, his conclusion was simply that there was "nothing he could do."
The kids enjoyed the slides, but the equipment is poorly maintained. My husband actually cut his elbow on a rough seam inside the waterslide. Thankfully not one of the kids but still.
A restful night was impossible for several reasons:
The pillows were beyond lumpy, and we actually found a "smiley face" drawn on our bedding.
Noise was constant. People were yelling, slamming doors and laughing until 3 am. We packed up and left in the morning. Total waste of money and stressful experience for us.
