“We stayed with a group of friends to celebrate a birthday. Maureen was very communicative and helpful, working with us to avoid some bad weather and staying in touch throughout our stay. The home is bigger than it appears in pictures, and very comfortable. Our group of 9 fit perfectly. It's also perfectly located an easy 10 minute drive from town and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again!”

“Cute house right on the river. We loved the hot tub on the deck looking at the river. Also loved the high ceiling in the family/TV room with a big couch so we could all hang out together. Small kitchen but had everything we needed. A short 10 min drive to Buena Vista with restaurants and shops. We skied at monarch which was great - about 40 min drive. Stopped in Salida a couple times for dinner - cute little mountain town! Highlight of the trip was Mount Princeton hot springs, just 10 min away.……

“This was our first Christmas to be just the two of us in 20 years of being together. The cabin was clean and well furnished. This by far was the cabin with more to offer than I have ever seen. There is a large book and DVD collection. The kitchen is stocked with dishes and spices and everyday needs. We hung out at the cabin on Christmas Day and then ventured into Salida on the day after Christmas. This is an amazing area and the views are just stunning. ”

“As we drove down the road we took notice of all the nearby cabins and none have the views this one does. Incredible views and we got the “frequent visitors” our last morning there. Place is clean and can get really toasty if you want it to with the fireplace and heating. Fire pit and hot tub were great for the winter weather while we were there. Definitely will stay again. ”

“Very well maintained and clean cabin, and our host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We especially enjoyed the fireplace, the hot tub, and the privacy of the cabin. Outside of the master bedroom is a stream you can hear at night while sleeping. We had everything we needed and our kids are already asking to stay there again for future ski trips to Monarch.
