“The property was great, clean and spacious. The condo pool was large and the grounds were wry well kept. The connection to the Sea Soul club was great. The pool was excellent providing a great view to the Chahue bay. The bay was beautiful, but this bay is not for swimming, it had a red flag throughout the entire trip. Next to the club was a side street with various food shops that offered drinks and tasty food. There was only one downside to the trip, our contact was unavailable on our arrival……

“El Servicio del hotel es amigable pero si tienes un problema no te pueden ayudar inmediatamente, primero contactas al host y eso fue tedioso para mí. El día que llegamos estaba sucio el condominio, no solamente de polvo sino de alimentos. Tuve que mandar fotos de prueba al host y después hablar al lobby para que mandaran a alguien a limpiar. Para ese entonces ya era noche así que llegaron hasta el día siguiente.Las puertas están descuidadas. La puerta principal se atora, la de los cuartos y baño……

“What’s not to like? Beautiful location with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Our group of six found it a great base for surfing local spots. Some of the elements that made our stay a little more hazardous are actually stellar selling points for those without an 18 month old to monitor (slippery red clay tiles! Open air, bannisterless winding staircase! Pool without a fence!) Great communication throughout. We’ll be back for sure.”

“Our stay at La Bocana was amazing, we stayed for about 10 days and we felt right at home. The space had all the basic elements for a nice, comfortable stay with my family and was in a quiet location near the ocean (though not for swimming), but not far from town. The team in charge was super attentive and communicative, making sure we had everything we needed in advance and during our stay. Absolutely recommended for any future travelers considering staying here. ”

It's also really easy to get taxi to take you within minutes to all the hotspots. Pool is great, we were travelling with our 2y old and the shallow pool was just perfect.”
