“My daughter wanted to go to a cabin for a weekend, unplug, read and recharge for her 16th birthday. It has been a crazy year for our family so I jumped on this idea! The two of us left San Diego for 48 hours and this cabin was perfect! It is so quaint, super clean and easy to navigate the hosts were amazing. We enjoyed the sounds of the water fountain while reading and had a fire while we watched a movie. This is a perfect escape for a girls or family getaway. We will be back for sure. ”

“Martin’s cabin, the Lilac, was perfect for our weekend away. It was easy to get to and check in was simple. Make sure to read all of the information provided before arrival since there is no cell signal. This cabin was cozy, rustic, and a hidden gem on Palomar Mt. Upon arrivals the cabin was clean and very chilly. After about 30 min with the gas fireplace turned on we were very comfortable in our t shirts. There were lots of movies and games, so we were never bored. About 15 minutes away is……

“It’s always nice to getaway from the city. The drive through the winding hills and the small towns was idyllic Americana. So many opportunities to try the apple cider or talk with local farmers. The cabin is tucked into the hills in a sparsely populated wooden hillside. Peace, tranquility, and nature surrounding you as you gaze from the porch and drink some coffee. You’ll hear turkeys, woodpeckers, and other various woodland creatures stirring through the scenery. The turkeys and peacocks spend……

“We stayed two nights in cabin #5. Nicely upgraded and very clean. Great view of countryside and part of lake Henshaw. Very peaceful Thursday, but got a bit busier as Friday afternoon weekend folks rolled in. Close to lake, Julian, outdoor activities, and good restaurants.”

Paul was great and called the day we got there to make sure we didn’t have any questions and to let us know specifics. Such a quiet and relaxing area, the cabin is also very fun with all the little details. It was a pretty hot weekend, and the beds still had the winter flannel sheets, but other than that it was perfect.”
