Overall, it is a very nice and quaint property. It is very clean and wonderfully decorated. The main bed is absolutely one of the most comfortable ones I’ve ever been in… loved the bedding, snuggly pillows, super soft extra blanket, and central coast breeze coming through the bedroom windows at night.
However, the coffee maker did not work and there were no kitchen hand towels and no wash cloths for the bathroom. I also suggest supplying tissues and a shower mat to step on when wet. Also, a couple of throw rugs throughout the house would be good. And the stairs going into the unit were my least favorite part.
Communicating with the host was less than optimal. She seemed unreasonable with my travel delay and accommodating an extra night at the end of my stay, since I missed my first night. She insisted I communicate directly with Vrbo customer service, but when I informed her that I was unable to reach Vrbo, she refused to assist. I did wait on hold to speak to Vrbo customer service for over two hours two different times. A simple modification from the host herself is all that was needed in this situation.
Also, this property was advertised to have a hot tub, which it does not and when I brought that to the owners attention, she denied that being listed as such and when I checked the posting the next day it had been removed. I have a screenshot of the property initially listing it had a hot tub when I paid for my reservation. I am still not happy about that.
