Kind owner and Nice hotel near beautiful beach

Jennifer and Greg are awesome! The hotel is near to the beautiful beach, walk to downtown only take about 20 minutes. A wonderful place to stay!

We had read the mixed reviews and were a bit skeptical but we thought everything was excellent. I had read some reviews about remodelled rooms vs ones not done yet and the staff were kind enough to show us both and gave us the choice. We actually chose the room that had not been remodelled yet and it was more than acceptable. It was clean and bedrooms were comfortable. Overall we just found the whole place very charming and staff were so friendly. Rooms are being remodelled, including the one beside ours but the staff stopped working around 5 and noise was intermittent before then. The pool was warm and lovely. Was a great value for the location and the kitchen amenities. We slept with all our windows open and didn’t find it noisy whatsoever, despite some reports of other rowdy guests breaking rules and using pool late at night. Overall, I would highly recommend this charming hotel!

I’m so disappointed in this property and can’t believe I paid almost $400 to stay here for one night. They literally did not have normal pillows on the beds. They were small squares and the beds themselves were extremely uncomfortable. The property pictures were much more flattering than the actual hotel itself. I would not recommend this hotel!

First off, this is an inn not a hotel. The room was very clean. If you think you will utilize the kitchen, bring your own pots and pans. The nonstick from their pots/pans were pealing off when we’re trying to boil the water. If you tell them about the condition, they’d bring a new set of the same cheap cookware. Utensils, bowls were plastic. The tv connection was having issues that kept re-connecting. Everything else was good. The beds were comfortable. The surrounding was quiet.

Well I tried to like the property since it’s close to the beach. But there are THREE main things I noticed about our stay: 1.) there was a dead insect on the floor next to the bed. 2.) the kitchen floor was sticky 3.) the housekeeping staff only cleaned the room once during our stay ( we never left the “do not disturb” sign on the doorknob.) I figured oh well, they are probably busy, seeing as it’s a beach town. But what really bothered me is that the housekeeping staff is actually right outside my room, with their cart parked nearby— and they’re always in their cellphone.

We stayed here for a local staycation and had a mixed but overall decent experience. We originally booked the standard queen room, but it felt more like a full-sized bed—not ideal for two people. Thankfully, the front desk staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. They offered to show us a different room with a king bed, and we decided to upgrade. That room was much nicer and more comfortable overall. Only downside was that the bedsheet in the upgraded room had a bit of dirt on the side, which was disappointing. Other than that, the location was convenient, there was on-site parking, and the hotel being pet-friendly was a big plus for us. Would recommend if you’re looking for a laid-back, pet-friendly spot with helpful staff—just keep in mind the room types can vary quite a bit in quality.

The floors and the base boards in the room were so dirty and the rug felt grimy. The room was nothing like pictured. The front desk said I could cancel the remaining days of my stay but after checking out two days early, they denied Expedia refunding me. Horrible experience.
