“The house was large and beautiful. The property is amazing. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. However, the beds were not comfortable, there were dead bugs throughout the house that should have been cleaned before our arrival. We planned on using the washing machine but it was broken. Basic amenities like toilet paper, soap, shampoo, kitchen towel and sponge were either lacking or not provided. We had to purchase many things that we had expected to be on site, even some kitchen……

“We booked specifically for the pool, which did not disappoint. It's actually larger than it appears in the pictures and was very clean. The downstairs was nice, but the bedrooms upstairs were not as nice as the appeared in the pictures. The property owner was super easy to get a hold of during the stay and checked in with us regularly. Overall, great stay and would book again.”

“You'll reach Bob White Cottage and find yourself right at home. I stayed here for a weekend getaway with a friend this December. We couldn't have asked for a better escape. The house was pristine and well stocked with the basics. Eggs and honey from the farm were made available in the kitchen, and when we took our hosts up on the offer of a barn tour, we were provided with even more. Smores kits and dry firewood were ready for us in the firepit outside. (And if you're into birding, I'm pleased……

“Girls 60th birthday trip from Georgia. The home was a perfect central location. Easy access from DFW airport. We loved lakeside village for shopping drinks and food. Plenty of room with beds for all of us. We drove to the stockyards, visited carpernaum studios and visited JFK memorials. All convenient from the home. We didn’t use the pool, but loved the fireplace ”

“We were very impressed with the property and its cleanliness. Nice quiet environment”

“Loved the views and quick access to the backyard for the dogs. The dogs and humans had a great time. Loved being away from the city but still not too far from everything we need for food and activities! Thank you for having us!”

“We enjoyed our stay. The home was very clean and a very well stocked kitchen. Our family enjoyed the pool, spa and home. I had a few questions before our arrival and our host responded immediately. I recommend this home for a great family vacation.”

“Overall, the house was great and served it's purpose. The bed was comfortable and they have a ton of extra pillows. We did notice an odor when we first got there, but that was likely due to the air being still inside. Once we got the fans and such going, it faded. There isn't central heating and cooling, but they have gas/electric heating options as well as wall units for cooling and both worked very well. They had supplies for pets which was very useful. ”

“Overall great property to stay at. That brings said there were a few issues, there was no manual on how anything should be done or what the checkout process should be. No idea what to do with trash or linens at end of stay. No instructions on the amenities, heated pool and hot tub did not work. As well as TV and thermostat had no instructions on how to use first night everyone was cold. But great place to stay and will stay again if amenities are fixed. ”
