“We all enjoyed our stay for our Dad's 70th Birthday. The pool was used constantly! The house was very clean, well equipped and beds comfortable. The grounds and surrounding areas to the property are beautiful. Alan, the host was good at communicating and replied very quickly to any queries I had. My only gripe, which didn't detract from the stay at all, would be plastic cups for the pool area and maybe some pictures and ornaments throughout the house to make it feel more homely. Thank you……

“Beautiful semi detached cottage. Very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The enclosed walled garden was a safe oasis for my daughter and dog who were both in their element with the freedom they had. We enjoyed lovely sunny weather which allowed us to utilise it for most of our stay.Ramsay was very responsive and quick to respond to any queries. We were really appreciative of the early self check in offered. The Sunday tea room was closed when we were there but we went to the visitor centre……

“We had a lovely stay, and everything in the chalet was fine however we only stayed for two nights. I would say there are a couple of areas of the experience which can be improved further. The bed and pillows aren’t comfy, we have both left with neck pain, a mattress protector and new pillows would go a long way. The top oven smoked when preheating so we had to avoid using it. Nice view and good location, would have benefited with directions to the spot by the river which is pictured in the ad.……
